# Overview

> What Zapyd does, its four products, and how every order works end to end.

Zapyd is a stablecoin on-ramp and off-ramp API. You make a few signed REST calls, and Zapyd handles KYC, local bank rails, blockchain transfers, FX and compliance.

## How an order works

Every product follows the same four steps. Only the funding step changes.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Onboard the customer" icon="user-check">
    Create a customer, complete KYC and add a bank account. Do this once per user. See [Onboard customers](/guides/customers/overview).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Quote" icon="file-invoice-dollar">
    Create a quotation. It locks the rate and fees until `expiry_time`. See [Rates, quotes and fees](/guides/payments/rates-quotes-fees).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fund and initiate" icon="paper-plane">
    Payin: the user pays fiat to the quotation's `deposit_instructions`. Payout: you send crypto to the quotation's `wallet_address`. Prefunded payout: Zapyd debits your balance. Then call `initiate`.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Track" icon="bell">
    Zapyd sends a signed webhook on each status change until the order is `SUCCESS`, `FAILED` or `REFUNDED`. See [Webhooks](/guides/development-and-testing/webhooks).
  </Step>
</Steps>

## How to integrate

| Path | Effort | Start here |
| - | - | - |
| **Core APIs** | Your own UI and backend | [Quickstart](/guides/getting-started/quickstart) |
| **Widget** | One server call, or a link | [Widget](/guides/no-code/widget) |
| **Client Dashboard** | No code, for your operators | [Client Dashboard](/guides/no-code/client-dashboard) |

Compare them in [Choose your integration](/guides/getting-started/choose-integration).
