# Add Wallet

> Adds a crypto wallet address for a customer. Used as the deposit source for on-ramp transactions.

  Integrate the DollarPe Add Wallet endpoint into my application.

  Endpoint: POST /wallet/add

  Auth headers required on every request:

  * X-API-KEY: your API key
  * X-TIMESTAMP: current Unix time in seconds
  * X-SIGNATURE: Base64(HMAC-SHA256(X-API-KEY + X-TIMESTAMP + sortedJSONBody, apiSecret))

  Task: Write a typed function that:

  1. Accepts customer\_id and wallet details (address, blockchain, asset)
  2. Validates the wallet address format before calling the API
  3. Builds the signed auth headers
  4. Calls POST /wallet/add
  5. Returns the created wallet object with its ID
  6. Handles 400 (invalid address, unsupported blockchain, unverified customer) and 500 errors
