# Update Additional Information

> Updates supplementary personal details in a customer's KYC record.

  Integrate the DollarPe Update Additional Information endpoint into my application.

  Endpoint: PATCH /kyc/update-additional-info

  Auth headers required on every request:

  * X-API-KEY: your API key
  * X-TIMESTAMP: current Unix time in seconds
  * X-SIGNATURE: Base64(HMAC-SHA256(X-API-KEY + X-TIMESTAMP + sortedJSONBody, apiSecret))

  Task: Write a typed function that:

  1. Accepts customer\_id and additional information fields (address, nationality, occupation)
  2. Builds the signed auth headers
  3. Calls PATCH /kyc/update-additional-info
  4. Returns the update status
  5. Handles 400 (invalid data, wrong KYC state) and 500 errors

  **Update Limit**: KYC information can be updated a maximum of **3
  times** per customer.
  Once this limit is reached, no further updates will be allowed.
